Liliane & Urmas wrote to me with the wish to capture their special day, which took place on 25.07 and we had the most beautiful Estonian summer weather. But they didn't find me in the most usual way - Liliane's mother's friend won a gift card for a shoot with me, but since she didn't want to come and take pictures herself and knew that her friend's daugther's wedding day was coming up, she gave it to them instead. After that, Liliane contacted me to see if they could direct the value of the gift card towards capturing their wedding day. And of course! What made it even sweeter was that during the conversation it turned out that some time earlier Liliane had even thought about writing to me with a wish to take pictures, but life got in the way and the idea stayed there. But life brought us together anyway! 🥹
Before the ceremony at Kaarli Church, we spent time in the wonderful white hall and rose garden of the Kadrioru Art Museum, where we were able to capture wonderful moments of the two of them. This romantic beginning perfectly suited the atmosphere of their wedding day! But a little funny situation happened too - when we were taking pictures inside the Art Museum, a larger group of Asian tourists came there for a moment and when we had placed the bridal bouquet on a chair for a few pictures, someone tried to snatch it away. Luckily, a lovely museum employee saved the day and our bridal bouquet! 😄
The official part of the wedding day took place in the Kaarli Church - this historic and beautiful place gave a special meaning to their “I do”. Hand in hand together towards the altar, solemnly concluding their marriage. Such a beautiful wedding and the words of the priest brought a small tear to my eye. After the wedding, I left the bride and groom with their guests to enjoy and celebrate this wonderful day together.
