At the beginning of July, Henna wrote to me about wanting to come and take pictures with her family when she, her husband and son are visiting Estonia again, and the Japanese garden was chosen because it was also the place where they had taken beautiful pictures on their wedding day years earlier. And to now come back from Finland to take family photos in the same place with their son was a particularly cool idea - such a great opportunity to look back on the story of their family growing!
A little fun fact: I studied Finnish for 6 years in school, but I haven't practiced it at all in the last 5 years, so when Henna wrote, I already knew that the guidance during the session would be interesting. Fortunately, Henna and her husband also spoke Estonian quite well, so we were able to speak a little bit of a mixture of Finnish and Estonian during the session and English via email - so everyone got some practice in all languages😄 And even though I couldn't communicate with their son very much, I still managed well enough with the help of the parents' that we got some lovely pictures of them!
